A record-breaking prize in the history of the Powerball game is being checked for by players.

If the big prize winner selected the annuity option, which would be paid out progressively over 29 years, they would get $747 million as their prize. With the widely used cash option, the winner would receive $403.1 million before federal and state taxes.

In Monday night’s drawing, the winning numbers were 5, 11, 22, 23, 69, and the Powerball was 7. Power Play was two times.
What is the Powerball game?
Each Powerball play costs $2. For the white balls, players choose five numbers between 1 and 69, and for the red Powerball, they choose one number between 1 and 26.
You must match the numbers for all five white balls, plus the red Powerball, to win the jackpot.
There are eight more chances to win a Powerball prize across the game’s non-jackpot tiers in addition to the big prize, depending on the number of balls that are matched.

Prizes other than the jackpot range from $4 to $1 million. You can choose to play “Powerplay” for an additional $1, which multiplies non-jackpot winning payouts by 2, 3, 4, 5, or 10.
The 10X Powerplay, according to Powerball, is only offered when the jackpot is $150 million or less. For the Powerplay, the second-tier “Match 5” reward is capped at $2 million.
In some jurisdictions, participants can purchase “Double Play,” a supplementary add-on feature that offers them a second chance to match their numbers following each Powerball drawing, for $1 per play.
