Guests who splurge on character dining are guaranteed to interact with a variety of beloved Disney characters, from the Fab Five to Disney princesses. They approach your table for photos, autographs, and hugs while you enjoy a hearty meal.
Due to the fact that half of the venues are located outside of the theme parks, you do not need a park ticket to get your Disney fix, but you should still be prepared to spend a significant amount of money. Character dining is both expensive and popular.

Disney Trip Meal – How much does dining with Disney characters cost?
At Hollywood & Vine, character dining starts at $27 for children and $42 for “adults,” but every other location charges more, so bills can easily exceed $100.
Only children between the ages of 3 and 9 qualify for child pricing. Anyone over the age of 10 is considered an adult for purposes of meals and park admission. Free for children under 3.
In general, breakfast is the most cost-effective meal, but not every character dining location offers it. The Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, for instance, only serves dinner, which costs $39 per child and $65 per adult.
Is a character meal cost-effective?
The answer is subjective, but for my family it is worthwhile. This is not every day or even frequent indulgence. On numerous occasions, we have brought our own food into the parks or relied on quick service. We have splurged on character meals for a few special occasions over the years, including our first trip, family reunion, birthday, and most recently, our anniversary.
I do not participate in character meals for the food, though there is something for everyone at each location, and the food and service at Topolino’s Terrace are exceptional. I go for the experience as a whole.
I enjoy watching my children’s faces light up as they interact with characters who take their time at each table. Disney Trip Meal, At Disney World, many guests rush through lengthy to-do lists. For me, character dining is about savouring the iconic Disney magic slowly.

Which Disney character meals have returned?
Character dining has returned to nearly all restaurants that offered it prior to the pandemic. Character experiences are expected to return to Cinderella’s Royal Table in Magic Kingdom on February 28, while 1900 Park Fare remains closed at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
Certain establishments only feature characters during specific meals, and characters are subject to change.
