Jeremy Renner

After being involved in an accident while shovelling snow, Jeremy Renner is currently in the hospital in a serious but stable condition.

A spokesman for the actor told The Associated Press that the Marvel star, who plays the ace archer Clint Barton/Hawkeye in the heroic Avengers movies and the Disney+ series “Hawkeye,” incurred his injuries while ploughing on Sunday. “Hawkeye” is an original series produced by Disney+. It was not possible to obtain any additional information regarding the severity of Renner’s wounds.

According to a statement that was distributed to a number of media sources, such as The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, and Deadline, his family is currently present with him as he undergoes medical treatment. Although the actor owns a house in Nevada, it is unknown where he sustained his injuries.

In an effort to validate this information, USA TODAY has reached out to Renner’s representative.

Quentin Tarantino has stated that the actors who appear in Marvel films are “not cinematic stars”: Renner, who is 51 years old and presently stars in the series “Mayor of Kingstown” for Paramount+, receives a response from “Shang-Chi” actress Simu Liu. The second season will begin airing on January 15th.

In 2010, he was nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in “The Hurt Locker,” and in 2011, he was nominated for his performance in “The Town.” He is also known for his roles in the films “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol,” “American Hustle,” and “Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation,” among others.

It was discovered in 2017 that he had fractured both of his arms while filming a stunt for his movie “Tag.” “You know, I’m kind of a problem solver if that makes any sense. Renner stated, “There will be an effect to it, but it won’t stop me from doing things that I need to be doing. I’ll recuperate quickly.” I’m doing it my all to get better as quickly as possible.”

He made light of the fact that by the time the TV series came along, he found his Hawkeye moves to be “a little bit more painful.” “I’m 50 years old and wearing tights. In the year 2021, Jeremy Renner made a joking remark about how he “makes that (thing) look good.” “Man, it’s a blessing in disguise. I am dedicated to my work, but I never let myself forget how much I am enjoying myself in the process.

The Associated Press, along with USA TODAY’s Brian Truitt and Sara M. Moniuszko, contributed to this report. Who will play Kang, Namor, and the other roles? Get to know five fresh faces that will play important roles in Marvel’s future.
