ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood said Friday the national government will survey its choice to revive schools in the first week of September.
addressing to a private news channel, the minister said private educational organizations could just call their educators and organization staff on the job before September 15 however the schools would be never permitted to allow students until official conclusion, as there could be no alternative on the wellbeing of students.
“Schools and universities all over Pakistan will reopen simply after the coronavirus pandemic is finished,” he included. He said applying SOPs, including scattered seating plans, division of classes into further sections and change in timings could be a part of the measures that schools should follow at whatever point they were reopened.
“We are thinking about each possible alternative. We will attempt to change things like whether to hold the yearly tests this year, or delay tests to one year from now”, he said. “An official decision would be taken by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), which screens and follows up on the improvements to stem the spread of coronavirus in the country,” he referenced.
He further said specific assignments would be made for instructors in schools and obligations regarding guaranteeing health and safety would be characterized before schools reopen. “We need to end the vulnerability at the earliest opportunity with the conference of all partners on the fundamental significant issue like education,” he said.
Shafqat likewise mentioned the private based schools to follow the SOPs concocted by the government.
