KARACHI: Eid-ul-Adha 2020 was to be praised on August 1, focal Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairperson Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman said Tuesday, after the body met here in the city to locate the Zilhajj moon and decide the dates for the strict party.
The gathering was held with Mufti Muneeb in the seat, with the those of the zonal councils occurring at the common home office.
In Quetta, Maulana Anwarul Haq Haqqani, just as authorities of the area organization and the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), accumulated for the moon-locating. PMD authorities said the moon would be obvious for over 20 minutes and that the city’s skies were clear.

Prior, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry had said that Eid ul Adha would be commended on July 31 in Pakistan “according to schedule of the Ministry of Science and Technology”.
Taking to Twitter, Chaudhry had said that the moon for the long stretch of Zilhajj would be found in Karachi and its encompassing territories on July 21. He had included that the moon could be located with the assistance of optics and in certain regions, with the unaided eye too.
