The 31-year-old cricketer announced his move to contribute for the relief fund on his social media handles. Kohli said that that the sufferings of the infected people is breaking his heart and hoped that his contribution would help in easing the pain of the fellow countrymen.

Taking to Twitter Kohli wrote, “Anushka and I are pledging our support towards PM-CARES Fund & the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (Maharashtra). Our hearts are breaking looking at the suffering of so many & we hope our contribution, in some way, helps easing the pain of our fellow citizens #IndiaFightsCorona.”
